Learning Way Philosophy
The Learning Way School staff believes that every child has the right to develop to his/her potential. Given an accepting environment and stimulating learning alternatives which are based on a sound educational program, this can be assured. Young children are eager to learn and they benefit greatly from participating in activities tailored to their needs and interests.
Needs in the following areas will be addressed:
- Self esteem
- Community awareness
It is our belief that with high yet reasonable expectations and appropriate learning opportunities, children will show optimum growth in social, academic and physical realms.
We are open to all children regardless of race, gender, disablement or natural origin.

When I was searching for a daycare school for my eldest son five years ago, I felt like meeting Jeri at Learning Way was serendipitous. I had looked at other schools, but felt that Jeri, Teddi, and Lynn all shared a passion for early childhood education and development that I haven’t seen elsewhere.
The atmosphere at Learning Way encourages the children to value each other from infants to “olders.” That attitude shows in the morning when I drop off my children and all the children greet us with smiles. The kids at Learning Way are happy and active. My eldest son is now in the first grade, and doing very well. He was well prepared for kindergarten, thanks to Learning Way. During his time there I never worried that he was getting thoughtful, attentive, and loving care. Jeri has been terrific at supporting me with spot on parenting advise whenever I ask.
My youngest son has been enrolled at Learning Way since he was an infant. I always have been confident in the quality of care that he is getting, and I am grateful to his Learning Way teachers for their patience and kindness. It is such a thrill for me when my children sing songs I know they learned at school, talk about their “good teachers,” and their many friends at Learning Way.

Aden loves going to school. Even on the weekend, he is up by 7:00 and telling us that it is time to go to school. For me, it makes going to work easier knowing that Aden is in a place where his social, emotional and educational development is the priority of every staff member.

I'm writing to you and the rest of your staff to express our gratitude for the way you care and nurse our children.
The Learning Way has amazed us in more ways than we could have expected, our oldest son started the school year very well prepared and little bit ahead compared to other kids in his classroom, we hope it'll be the same with the youngest one next year when he'll go to school.
We're also very pleased to see how much emphasis you guys put to creativity, those little hand made arts and crafts they bring from daycare are to die for. We try to save as many as we can, especially those made for special days like X-mass, Halloween, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.
For this and many other things you all teach our children I'd like to thank you and ask you to continue with the excellent job you guys do.
